Captain Mega Muscles and Lady-Birdy On Adventure
One day, Captain Mega Muscles and Lady-Birdy went out for a walk. After a while, they saw some footprints. The footprints were bigger than a cat's, but smaller than a bear's, so they got curious. They agreed to follow the footprints. Suddenly, the footprints stopped, it was like the owner of the footprints could fly. So they looked up at the sky... and there! Right over the treetops they saw a creature. It had a head like an eagle, wings like a chicken and a tail like a lion!
"Wonder what that can be?" said Lady-Birdy. "Is it a flying lion, or an eagle with a tail?"
Captain Mega Muscles thought for a while, then he replied:
"It's neither of them. I think it's a griffin."
The griffin came gliding down and landed next to them. Lady-Birdy saw the pain in his eyes when he put his left hind leg down. Lady-Birdy asked him why he was in pain and the griffin answered that it was because he had a twig in his toe, and he couldn't get it out!
"We can help you," Captain Mega Muscles said. "If Lady-Birdy and I pull together, I think we can get it out."
So they pulled and pulled until the twig was out, and the griffin was very lucky because Lady-Birdy had some plaster in her handbag. They put the plaster on his toe and said goodbye to the griffin. At last, the griffin was happy and they could go home.
